Hiring: Project / Operations Manager

I need a rockstar Project / Operations Manager to join my team part-time (full-time on offer from June, or immediately if you have marketing experience).
I run a boutique consulting and strategy firm — we have an awesome suite of boutique clients across a range of industries.
We make big commitments to our clients… well… I do… and I need an experienced Project Manager / Operations Manager to come and convert those promises into a project plan, and then manage that plan to completion.

We have a rad Chief of Staff supporting me and a driven Digital Marketer who helps with our brand consulting work — but you’ll be the “herder” keeping me and the team (mainly me…) on track.
We are regularly working on 10–15 major strategic client projects per month. We don’t overcommit, and I’m very careful about what I commit us to… but my best value is in the big picture, so I need somebody to ‘catch’ all the little commitments and make sure we deliver on them on budget and on time.
So, who do I need?
You are an experienced Project Manager or Operations Manager in a consulting/marketing/project-driven firm (we are boutique, premium fee, and work with high-end clients — this isn’t an entry level position).
If you have Digital Marketing (PPC, Facebook, Google Ads) experience, even better!
To be more clear, you need to have managed multiple (as in, more than 5 simultaneously) projects in a client-centric industry. They can be internal or external projects, but you have to have experience with WIP Meetings, Project Scoping, and Milestone Management.
You will be communicating with clients — we’re professional + fun — so you need to be too.
You are passionate and driven, and fight for every little promise. You feel comfortable advocating for the client, and making sure we deliver on our promises.
You are organised and autonomous. We’re a remote team and — meetings as an exception — you work on your own schedule.
What is our commitment to you?
At the moment, this is a part-time (~20 hours per week) role at a between $60K and $70K salary (pro rata, and negotiable for a rocking candidate).
This will become a full-time role by mid-year, though if you cannot commit to a full-time role, we will provide a job-share arrangement.
